This is one of my favourite authentic family korean restaurants. This little restaurant can be quite busy during lunch and dinner. One may have to wait during those times. Me and better half come here quite often, and one of the things I like to order is the tasty ddukbaegi-bulgogi (beef kinda sweet in and not spicy) and it comes with a stone-rice where later you can add water to it and have it like a rice soup. My other half orders the bbeodagi gamgatang (spicy pork bones) which also come with stone rice.
Also we ordered the Korean cold noodles (Mui Naengmyeon) which is pretty good for those hot days.
On the down side service can be improved as this is a family own business, they should hire more servers. Also in regard to side dishes they have only kimchi (spicy cabbage) and spicy turnip. They should provide more side dishes ie potatoes etc.
Other than that the ladies that work there are super nice and always give me extra kimchi ;) will come back ! -

Disclaimer: I'm probably not the best person to be reviewing this place because I don't know my Korean soups.
The couple times I've had bone soups at supposedly authentic places, I wasn't a big fan, so this time I decided to play it safe by getting the bibimbap (I know, not what this place is known for!). (I wouldn't have chosen to eat here in the first place, but my friend is a regular customer here and I didn't have the heart to say no).
So the bibimbap...was nothing special. I had to keep adding sauce because otherwise there was literally no flavour.
I do love Korean side dishes though, so it was a huge disappointment when all that came was kimchi...
I tried a bit of my friend's soup, and I'd say it was better than the one I had at Han Yang in Buena Park, California (the authentic Korean place everyone in SoCal swears by). So I think next time I could venture to give the soups here a try... -

Pretty good Korean food located in Korea town in Coquitlam.
Does get pretty busy so peak times, expect to wait a bit for a table. Ideal for small groups but for groups larger than 4 people might be harder to get a table.
Suhl lung tang is pretty good, comes with a good amount of noodle and meat. Also ordered the bo ssam which is quite tasty. Good amount of meat.
Only caveat is that the only side dish is kimchi.
Can't really go wrong here. Love that the rice comes in hot stone bowl. Pour water in it after scooping out the rice for porridge. -

I had high expectations of this place due to how busy they are and being in a K area. We walked in and got seated but took a good 5-10 min before someone came to give us a menu. They don't have much variety for a Korean resto I think they specialize mainly in soups. My mistake I should've researched menu first coz I was craving some rice cakes, fried chicken and jajangmyeon . Disappointed already we still decided to try it and ordered the hot tofu soup and dolsot bibimbap. It arrived fairly quickly. Bibimbap was average and hot tofu soup was good but nothing special. Thank you next !

My go-to Korean place whenever I pass by Coquitlam. It's located in a large strip mall (where H-Mart is) with plenty of parking. We always come here as soon as they open because the restaurant fills up in about 20 minutes of opening. Smaller menu with about 20 items (lots of hot soups, rices and meat dishes, no appetizers). My favorite is #12 Bulgogi Beef Hot Pot with glass noodle. All the dishes come with a white rice served in a stone bowl. Upon ordering, they bring you a large plate of kimchi and radish. The only downside is I wish they had more side dishes like fish cakes or potato instead of just Kimchi.
